BUILD, in partnership with McGrath Partners, is working closely with Bay Area Rapid Transit (BART) and the Oakland Redevelopment Agency, to develop  a 7.2-acre mixed-use transit village at the MacArthur BART Station in Oakland.  The majority of the development site comprises a 5.75-acre underutilized surface parking lot that serves BART patrons. The opportunity to develop a large parcel in a dense urban setting next to a prominent transit hub is almost unprecedented.
